Independence Day can be a fun holiday, celebrated with parades, picnics and fireworks. But, it can be a scary time for our companion pets. Plan ahead to help your animal stay safe. Keep your pet indoors in a quiet, safe environment. Keep dangerous items out of reach, such as alcohol, fireworks, matches and citronella. Get your pets microchipped just in case they run away. This will increase the likelihood of your pet being returned home.
