DESCRIPTION:A special veterinary mobile services event for residents in the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County\, proudly sponsored by the Animals aRe First Fund (ARFF). This event is by appointment only. \nPlease enter your address in our service area map at animalcare.sbcounty.gov/serviceareas to confirm if your pet qualifies. \nDuring the event\, a valid ID is required to verify your residency. If you do not have a valid ID\, please bring a recent utility bill as proof of residence. Please ensure dogs are kept on a leash and cats are brought in non-cardboard individual carriers. \nAppointment-based services include: \n\nFree spay and neuter surgery\n\nPet must meet basic health requirements and pass a wellness check at drop-off for surgery. \n\nFree pet microchipping\nDog licensing\n\nTo qualify for the discounted licensing price\, you will need to bring proof of your pet’s spay/neuter. Additionally\, proof of a previous rabies vaccine is required to receive a license. If your pet does not have proof of a rabies vaccine\, they may receive the vaccine at the event before obtaining the license. \n\nLow-cost vaccinations: $10 each\n\n(FVRCP\, Rabies\, Bordetella\, DA2PP\, Leptospirosis) If you would like to receive a 3-year rabies vaccine instead of a 1-year vaccine\, you must provide proof of the previous rabies vaccination. \nWe anticipate high demand for this event. Appointments are limited and filled first-come\, first-served. Can’t get an appointment this time? SUMMARY:Free Spay and Neuter Event: TNVR Community Cats
DESCRIPTION:San Bernardino County Animal Care is partnering with The Paw Mission to provide free spay and neuter services to eligible residents living in unincorporated areas for the Trap\, Neuter\, Vaccinate\, and Return (TNVR) community cats program. \nFor the community cats\, the trapping address must be located in the San Bernardino County unincorporated service areas. \nView our service area map to see if the community cat or owned pet qualifies. Locations colored in “blue” and “brown” on the map are eligible for this program. San Bernardino County Animal Care contract cities are not eligible at this time. \nQualifying cats will receive the following: \n\nFree vaccinations\nFree spay/neuter surgery\nCat will be ear-tipped for TNVR program identification\n\nThis event will be held on July 13th at Apple Valley Civic Center. Registration opens on July 8 at 12 p.m. at thepawmission.org. \nA $20 refundable deposit is required for each appointment. \nTogether\, we can make a lasting impact on feline health and pet overpopulation.
