We understand that making the decision to surrender a pet is a difficult one. One of the main focuses of San Bernardino County Animal Care is to support stray animals by keeping these animals safe, getting them off of the streets, and finding them loving homes. As a result, our shelters are often at capacity. If you’re considering surrendering your pet, we encourage you to explore alternative solutions first. There are resources available to help you keep or responsibly rehome your pet.
