San Bernardino County Animal Care is excited to participate in the San Bernardino County Museum’s Shake or Treat event! Emergencies affect not only people, but pets too — and being prepared is the best way to keep every member of your family safe.
At this free community event, residents can learn how to prepare themselves, their pets, their homes, and their neighborhoods for wildfires, earthquakes, and other disasters. Our Animal Care team will be on-site with valuable information on creating pet emergency kits, evacuation planning, and keeping animals safe during natural disasters.
We will also be offering on-site pet adoptions, giving families the opportunity to meet shelter pets looking for loving homes. It’s a great chance to learn about preparedness while also welcoming a new furry friend into your family.
Along with hands-on preparedness demonstrations and resources from partner agencies, families can enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the museum. Be sure to stop by our booth for treats, preparedness tips, and pet adoption opportunities.
Come for the fun — leave prepared, informed, and maybe even with a new forever friend!
The event takes place outdoors in the Museum’s parking lot and is free to all attendees. Museum will be open, regular admission applies. General admission is $12 (adult), $8 (military or senior), $9 (student), and $5 (child ages 6 to 12). Children five and under and museum members are free. Parking is free but may be limited.
