Free Spay and Neuter Event: Owned Pets

July 28, 2025
Three people smiling at an outdoor event with canopy tents in the background: a woman holding her cat and resting her arm on a pet carrier, a man holding his dog, and another woman standing with her cat.

San Bernardino County Animal Care is partnering with The Paw Mission to provide free spay and neuter services to eligible owned pets living in the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County.

View our service area map to see if your pet qualifies. Locations colored in “blue” or “brown” on the map are eligible for this program. San Bernardino County Animal Care contract cities are not eligible at this time.

Qualifying owner pets will receive the following:
• Free vaccinations
• Free spay/neuter surgery

This event will be held on July 28th at the Paw Mission Veterinary Hospital. Registration opens on July 18th at 9 a.m. at thepawmission.org. A $20 refundable deposit is required for each appointment.

Together, we can make a lasting impact on pet health and overpopulation. Thank you for being part of the solution!
