Telling Tails Partners with Raising Canes

August 1, 2025 - October 31, 2025

Big news for young readers and animal lovers! San Bernardino County Animal Care has partnered with Raising Cane’s for a pawsome twist on our “Telling Tails” Reading Program!

From August 1 to October 31, kids ages 6–17 who complete 6 reading sessions with our shelter pets will earn a tasty reward, courtesy of Raising Cane’s!

Ages 6–12: Free Kids Combo
Ages 12–17: Free Lemonade

Reading helps socialize adoptable pets and encourages literacy and kindness.
